The Adventure Begins

Wood turning has always appealed to me. It was something I’ve always wanted to try. Turning pens looked like so much fun. Plus the multitude of other small turning projects have caught my eye. So over the last few months, I’ve been saving my pennies so I could buy myself a mini-lathe. I’m painfully close to purchasing my first lathe and hope to do so within the next month or so. Until then, I thought I’d put together a small blog that documents my progress into the world of turning. I hope to share what I have learned, both good and bad, within this blog. I also hope to put together a nice resource for new turners. And eventually, I’d like to put together some demonstration videos for those who like watching other turners when they can’t be at the lathe themselves.
It should be a fun ride. Lets get started!
